After winning a scholarship in the World Scholarship Tour, Zachary traveled to Boston, MA to study drum set at Berklee College of Music. After being a very busy studio and live player in and around the Boston area, Zack found himself in Delaware. It was in Delaware that Zachary's interest in Classical music began and this eventually led him to Miami to study orchestral percussion. In Miami, Zachary was awarded an assistantship which allowed him to teach, write and conduct as well as play. Zachary was a regular member of several opera companies and orchestras throughout the south florida area, including; The Palm Beach Opera, The Miami Symphony, The South West Florida Symphony, The Atlantic Coast Orchestra, The Klezmer Company Orchestra and many more. After finishing the Master's program, Zachary moved to New York City, where he has been a very active musician in the studio, the pit and all over the city.
