Summer Recital Support

The recital will be June 9th, Sunday, 4:00PM at the Beth Israel Synagogue.  We are very excited and can't wait to showcase our students that can make it.  We also will have food and refreshments to follow plus live music from our teachers and students that have formed bands and written songs since starting with New Orleans Music Lessons.  Th.is is BYOB so all beers that are not flavored are (mostly) kosher so feel free to BYOB

The recital is FREE, but all the help we can get for food, refreshments, professional film crew, supplies, and more support is welcome.  Anyone or company that would like to help sponsor the recital to pay for rental, food, film, photography, and supply costs please feel free to donate below or bring a cash donation to the recital.  Rabbi Uri Topolosky of Beth Israel has been so kind to donate his space and what a beautiful and intimate setting it is! Please spread the word if you know anyone or company or your band that would be interested in sponsoring our first recital.  Also, if anyone is interested in donating door prizes please contact me at 504.220.4803 or email [email protected]

Businesses and/or bands are welcome to send us an advertisement that we can put in our programs if they'd like.

$50 will give the sponsor a quarter of the page in the programs which the students and students parents and friends will keep for years to come plus a space on the site NewOrleansMusicLessons.com and our Facebook fan page here.

$200 will give the sponsor a full page ad in the programs plus a larger space on both NewOrleansMusicLessons.com and NewOrleansActingLessons.com plus the Facebook fan pages.

Our donation button can be found below.  Any donations will receive a very special thanks from us!

Our deepest gratitude to those that can help out or send us someone that can! :) There is absolutely no obligation to donate.  We want this recital to stay classy.

I'm proud to be your teacher and look forward to future lessons.  I don't mind going a little over time to make sure you are very happy and comfortable with your performance piece. This is going to be so much fun!

Sincerely and Gratefully,

David

Student gives guitar teacher, David Putnam, an electric guitar!

When I have a student get excited about our lessons it really makes me happy inside to know that I can bring other people joy, especially, through music! I've had many tips given to me from my students over the years as a thank you to me for all they have learned from our lessons. I've received gifts that have ranged from money to books and more and I am so grateful for all. Just recently, I was given a guitar as a thank you from one of my jazz guitar students, Matthias. How cool is that?! (it's the cream guitar on the right).

Check out Matthias' band, Indyus. His music will definitely get you going!
